TetherSave Privacy Policy

TETHERSAVE PTE. LTD. (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of users who use TetherSave (hereinafter "Service") in accordance with relevant laws and to promptly and smoothly handle complaints related to personal information.


Collection and Use of Personal Information

1. Personal Information Items Processed

The Company does not process personal information of children under 16 years of age and collects and uses the following personal information:

  1. Upon membership registration (required)

    • Email address, password
  2. Upon member exchange UID linking (required)

    • Exchange name
    • Corresponding exchange UID
    • Corresponding exchange futures trading history (date/time, trading volume)
  3. Upon non-member payback service use (required)

    • Exchange name
    • Corresponding exchange UID
    • Corresponding exchange futures trading history (date/time, trading volume)
  4. Information automatically collected during service use

    • IP address, browser type, language used
    • Service usage records (access date/time, payback/commission accumulation/application, withdrawal records, etc.)
    • Device information (model name, OS type and version)
    • Cookies
  5. Upon survey or feedback provision

    • Items necessary for survey or feedback purposes

2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

The Company destroys personal information without delay when users withdraw from the service or lose their eligibility.
However, personal information is retained during the following periods:

  1. When investigation/inquiry is in progress due to violation of relevant laws: Until completion

  2. When creditor-debtor relationship exists: Until settlement is complete

  3. To prevent re-registration with the same email: Email address retained until service termination

  4. Payback/commission accumulation/application/withdrawal records: Retained for 5 years

    • Upon withdrawal, UID and other personal identification information is masked
  5. When there is a legal obligation to retain: Period according to the relevant law


3. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Member registration and management

    • Identity verification, member qualification maintenance/management, fraud prevention, notification
  2. Fraud and fund loss prevention

    • Fraudulent activity detection, account protection, fund loss prevention
  3. Service provision

    • Payback/reward accumulation and payment, service operation
  4. Service-related communication

    • Announcements, security notices, update information delivery
  5. Customer support

    • Inquiries, disputes, complaint handling
  6. Network and information security

    • Access control, security monitoring, malicious activity response
  7. Service improvement and development

    • Service quality improvement, new service development
  8. Marketing and advertising use

    • Events, promotions, marketing information provision (only for those who consent to receive)

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company provides personal information to third parties only when there is user consent or special provisions in laws.


The Company may use or provide personal information without user consent based on comprehensive consideration of the following criteria:

  • Relevance to collection purpose
  • User predictability
  • Whether user rights are infringed
  • Whether safety measures such as pseudonymization/encryption are applied

7. Destruction of Personal Information

Personal information is destroyed without delay when the retention period expires or the processing purpose is achieved.

  • Electronic files: Deleted in an unrecoverable manner
  • Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

The Company implements the following protective measures:

  1. Administrative measures: Internal management plan establishment, regular training
  2. Technical measures: Encryption, access rights management, access log retention
  3. Physical measures: Server room/data storage room access control

9. User Rights and Exercise Methods

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Personal information access, correction, deletion
  • Request for processing suspension
  • Consent withdrawal

Rights may be exercised via email, and the Company takes action without delay.
However, service use may be limited when personal information processing is suspended or consent is withdrawn.

Applies only to EU residents.

  1. Personal information may be transferred outside the EU, and the Company applies protective measures according to GDPR standards.

  2. EU users have the following rights:

    • Personal information access/correction/deletion

    • Data portability
    • Right to withdraw consent

Changes to Privacy Policy

12. Privacy Policy Changes

The Company may revise the Privacy Policy in case of law or service changes:

  • General changes: Notice 7 days in advance
  • Significant changes: Notice 30 days in advance

The changed policy takes effect from the announced effective date.
